Encaustic Poppies
Encaustic poppies 20 x 20 on cradled wooden panel $175
These poppies were fun to do. They are on a 20 x 20 inch cradled wooden panel. The reds are so vibrant, and the poppies pop! So many good things about working in molten beeswax!

Dee - this is lovely - so intense and the texture is awesome. I have never worked with the encaustic process - it looks fascinating.
God, Barb,
I haven't kept up with blog, but am trying to "re-engage." I hope you don't think I am too much of a slug!
Encaustics are SO much fun. Now that I have a larger studio, I can do so much more, and leave it up when I am not working on anything.
Right now, am back into acrylics and enjoying it!
Hope all is well with you!

Dee - good to hear from you. I know nothing about encaustics but love your work. I have missed being in contact with you.
