Something new for me
Well, I did something for the first time ... I entered The DPW Painting Challenge! - The Chicken Challenges, and had fun sketching a chicken. Out of my comfort zone, and into the fray. Gulp! What the cluck!

Thanks, Julie, I just love your chickie, too! I love that it's watercolor and you got such good contrasts, and kept it so fresh. I should have done more with my background.
I have "watched" the Challenge, and finally decided to jump in. I look forward to more challenges!

My chicken looks as if she could use more contrast [ amongst the rest of the challengers] but she looks better in real time than on the net ... Too pale!
